Mark had been leading the worship at Overflow Church in Benton Harbor for a few weeks and was getting sick and tired of everyone telling him how church was "supposed to be done", and about how worship was supposed to look, so he write this song out of anger and frustration. The song basically says that there are many different ways to worship your God, and that they're all good, You can worship sitting down, standing up, dancing, with your mouth wide open, or with no sound at all. Mark wrote this song in the middle of the night finishing it at around 3 am on a Sunday morning and played it that very morning during the church service.
